Here are several pictures of a cube. Since cubes are made out of squares, they are not rigid: they collapse. To make a "rigid" cube I started with an octahedron, ( which is dual to the cube ) and built a tetrahedron onto each one of its faces. Then I joined the eight corners of the resulting star shape with cotton to make the cube. |
